Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the accurate picking and dispatch of goods by picking against a handheld terminal and advising Manager of any differences.
- Adhere strictly to all Health & Safety policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Ensure fire exits and escape routes are always clear and comply with fire safety protocols.
- Follow all manual handling procedures to maintain safety standards.
- Report any defects or damages to manual handling equipment (MHE) using the correct reporting process.
- Comply with all relevant Food Safety and Food Hygiene legislation.
- Work collaboratively with other departments and depots, maintaining a professional and courteous attitude at all times.
- Be flexible and take on any additional duties as required to support the wider team.
What You’ll Need
- No previous warehouse experience is necessary — full training will be provided.
- A methodical and accurate approach to tasks, with the ability to work to targets.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- A team player with a positive attitude who aligns with our core company values.
- Prior knowledge of Food Hygiene regulations and experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.

PAYE
- £13.96 – per hour 40 hours worked weekly
- £17.60 – per hour Over Time after 40 hours worked weekly
- £17.60 – 6th shift working
Minimum of 8 hours guaranteed per shift
Overtime payable after 40 hours worked
Shift start times available
- 06:00 – 14:00
- 14:00 – 22:00
Working Hours
- 40 hours per week
- 5 days out of 7
- Working on a rolling rota, which includes weekends and public holidays
