HGV Class 1 Driver – Heathrow Airport

About the Role:

As part of our Transport Team at the Heathrow site, you will ensure the safe delivery and collections of customer orders to airport warehouses (sheds).

Please note, the role does involve handballing and manual work and may require working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in Class 1 driving and is required
• Class 1 Licence Holder with Nil points
• Driver CPC Holder
• Tachograph Card with no infringements in the last 12 weeks
• Customer Service: Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Flexibility and Reliability: Routes vary daily, so being flexible with work hours (including short notice changes) is essential. Be always on time.
• Experience: Experience with airport deliveries is preferred but not essential.
• Level D Cargo Operative certificate, often referred as Cargo Operative Driver (COD) or Cargo Operative (CO) is preferred but not essential.
• Be able to provide clean basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks prior to start date (obtained within 26 weeks)
• Provide a full 5-year checkable history

Job Type: Temporary to Permamament

PAYE

• £17.50 – Monday to Friday Day Rate
• £18.50 – Monday to Friday Night Rate
• £20.50 – Saturday Rate
• £21.50 – Sunday rate

Minimum of 8 hours guaranteed per shift

Shift start times available

• Fully Flexible to suit your needs

Available rota’s but not limited to

• Any 5 days over 7 on a rolling rota which may include weekend and public holidays.
